Hi All,

I have a friend whose daughter is going to USF in the fall and is interested in joining a sorority. I was wondering what the recruitment process is like there.
1. Are recs really important, or merely helpful?
2. What do the PNMs usually wear throughout the different rounds?
3. Any other helpful tips!

Thanks a lot for any advice anyone has. And, I am sorry if this school already has a thread about it...I looked several pages back and didn't see anything so went for it and made a new one.

Recs. are helpful. USF recruitment is not competitive in the same sense that FSU and UF are. PNMs would wear outfits similar to those worn by PNMs at the other state schools. USF will probably put up guidelines sometime in the summer. If not, your friend's daughter can look at any of the state school panhellenic guildelines/rush booklet and go by that.

Hey there! I havent been on GC in for-ev-er...so I just saw this! I am a USF alumna and current recruitment advisor for my chapter.

-Recs are pretty rare here at USF, they are nice to have but certainly not required.
-PNMs can reference the usfpanhellenic.com site and see examples of what to wear each round.
-Best tip is to keep an open mind, ask alot of questions, and try not to stress too much! Our campus isnt nearly as competitive as the other FL schools.
