University of Tennessee Sigma Kappa Passed Away
 

Very tragic! Condolences to the family, friends and sisters of Kathryn "Kate" Hopkins, a communications major and Sigma Kappa at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. She lost her life due to injuries from a March 17 longboarding accident at Yosemite Park over Spring Break. I learned of this after seeing a Tweet from my son's fraternity offering condolences to the chapter. She also played on Tennessee's women's rugby team.

Very sorry to hear this sad news. My prayers go out to her family and the sisters of Sigma Kappa.

That is so sad, my thoughts are prayers are with her family and Sigma Kappa sisters.

So sad. I seem to recall that this chapter lost a sister a couple of years ago or so, too.
