Panhellenic Etiquette Question
 

This is my second semester in greek life, and every time I'm at a greek event, such as a fraternity formal, I seem to run into this issue.

How do you respond when a girl from another sorority is speaking disrespectfully of your own sorority or one of your sisters?

I'm always just so appalled that I don't know what to say, or if I should even say anything. I've kept my mouth shut every time, but I think the behavior is very rude and unbecoming for any sorority woman.

Be nauseatingly nice to her and make her look like a jackass for being such a shit talker.

Oh, and "accidentally" spill a drink on her.

This is great advice in so many situations. Including this one.

I think something along the lines of...I'm sorry you feel that way. In my experience my sisters are true friends and genuine ladies who would never speak ill of others. And by the way, what a lovely dress you're wearing! How's that sports team you favor?...

To me the most under-rated exec position in the house. You get no grief over what you're doing because most of the members don't care what Panhel is doing, but you have TONS of power because Panhel is doing a lot, especially lately with all the expansion going on.
