Legacy Shirts

Hey all!

I just had a quick question for ya! How do you feel about getting a shirt for your younger sisters (not AOII sisters!) that say like AOII on it? I have always wanted to get a shirt for my two younger sisters, but no one has ever brought it up. Would it be wrong to get them a shirt that said, "Alpha Omicron Pi Legacy" on it?
Just curious!

Hmmmmm--thats a good question. I know they make bibs for babies at the Emporium that say "Future AOTT", but I am not sure how that works for older people. Personally, if they are not in college yet, I think it would be cute. My brother is a Kappa Sig legacy and for Christmas, when he was a freshman in high school, I gave him a Kappa Sig see-saw a-thon(its one of their charity fundraisers at Elon) t-shirt. He loved it and wore it a lot but when he went to college, he stopped wearing it, because there were Kappa Sig's were he went and he wasn't sure if he wanted to join them AND he didn't know what their letters meant. He did not end up joining Kappa Sig, so I now have 2 of the see saw a thon shirts!
I would maybe ask an advisor(even though I am an advisor and I still don't know : ) But I think its a cute idea!!

We bought an AOII Kid Sister shirt for our 6-year-old and Big Sister is so proud to show her off! It's cute on little kids but I think when you get them for middle school kids and older, you're getting into a danger zone because at that age, the girl really realizes what sororities are and might assume that she'll definitely get into that group someday.

That 6-year-old has 8 older sisters and ought to be SuperLegacy when she finally rushes but we're not counting on anything! We just try to help them be the best they can be.
