Lavalier Question
 

So I'm a guy who's girlfriend presented him with a lavalier recently. I was unaware that the girl would lavalier first, if at all. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

Ummm, no. Highly unusual...

Based on past posts on GC, I'd say highly unusual on some campuses, not as unusual on others.

I've seen this at two different small campuses in the Midwest.

Lavaliere traditions vary from campus to campus.

Why do you care? Your girlfriend gave you a lavaliere. It means something to her. You can wear it or decline it.

Are you in a fraternity? If not, this is nice. If so, it's just weird.
