Georgetown!

Why y'all ain't tell me you were coming to Georgetown! You know all expansion has to come through me! :p lol jk

I do have some questions though if anybody feels like talking about it. Okay just one question: the fb page says

"We are so excited to announce that we have official approval to start a chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Georgetown"

and before then

"We're still waiting to hear back from NPC but we promise to update you all as soon as we do."

So does NPC have to approve expansion to schools with no Greek Life recognition and only one other NPC org?

AND

Now that there are two, will they have to form a CPC?

Just curious and excited!

Yes when there are 2 NPC groups, the first installed chapter is supposed to start the formation of the CPC.

Sen, I apologize on behalf of all Thetas.

I'm thinking it's a go, all approvals were secured, and I believe Bid Day was February 5th, so the colony is underway.

Wondering how long it will take for a Kite and Key formal/date party?

It is my understanding that Theta's new chapter at Georgetown has similar status as at Harvard and Santa Clara. This is posted on the Fraternity site (in a publicly accessible area): Because Kappa Alpha Theta is not an officially recognized student group at Harvard, Santa Clara, or Georgetown University, these schools prohibit using "Harvard," "Santa Clara," or "Georgetown" in any published reference to our Zeta Xi, Eta Lambda, or Theta Iota chapters.
