Hi i have a really weird situation, i recently resigned my membership from my sorority for personal reasons and on the form i signed new member and i was wondering if when i transfer i would be able to rush and potentially pledge a different sorority at that school!?!

I don't understand. Were you initiated into your sorority, or were you a new member who dropped?

Not at all weird. Girls pledge, drop & transfer frequently. Whether or not you can pledge at another sorority will depend on:

1. whether or not you were initiated and
2. what kind of organizaiton it is.

If you were initiated into an NPC organization, you will not be allowed to join another NPC sorority.

@thetalady i signed a form to resign my membership as a new member! but i wasnt initiated and it was a npc sorority! will i be able to do rush again at my new school?

Yes, if you were NOT initiated, you may go through recruitment at your new school.

If you weren't initiated, then yes, you may rush again.
