Brandy's New Look/New Song
 

I might be on the late freight as far as this is concerned, but has anyone seen Brandy's new video and/or heard her new song "What About Us"? I think she looks fabulous (as always) even if she did get rid of her braids. The song however leaves something to be desired.

Any thoughts?

I haven't seen the video but I've seen pics and I think its down right scary! I don't like her hair, the weave is ridiculous, and the song has too many things going on at once. (I had a big glass of hater-ade):D

Soror Dove1920, you hit the nail right on the head. That's exactly what's wrong with the song. Sometimes that whole overproduced sound can be good when it's done well (Timberland, Missy Elliott, the Neptunes) but in this case it's just.... busy.

I just viewed her site. Brandy looks better then ever IMHO

I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely love her new song. I'm not a huge Brandy fan or anything, but she is still such a positive role model in this age of overblown divas!!! The video, however is just a little cheesy...

I really don't like the song. There is too much going on with the beats and all....in addition, Brandy sounds like she needs to be singing backup somewhere.

I checked the video, it's okay. I think she should have come out with something a bit more mature.

I think Brandy looks so much better w/ her hair like that. Me & the fellas always said "damn she'd be cute if she got rid of them braids"

I hate to admit it but.....
 

I now LIKE Brandy's song. Maybe because I've heard it a million times on the video. :)

Now that I have finally heard the song and seen the video....I like the look without the braids, but I'm not feeling the song.

I'm really not feeling Brandy's new look or song..........to me the hair is a bit to much........and the song is just too busy....!!!

I have only seen pictures of her new do. It looks allright. I think the new song sucks. It's too busy, the lyrics are stupid. I know she can do better.
