Can a guy lavaliere just once?
 

This guy I'm dating has already lavaliered a girl from a previous relationship. Is it possible to do it again?

There aren't any rules about his tradition, and it varies from campus to campus.

At my campus, guys could lavaliere as many girls as they liked. It just meant you were going steady and weren't dating anyone else.

Not if she still considers herself lavaliered to him!

I agree with the responses above.

If they broke up, I hope she isn't still wearing the lavaliere. I think the decent thing to do would be to offer to give it back to him. Then again, I don't think I'd like getting a "recycled" lavaliere, even though they all look alike.
