I have to admit, when my team is not playing in the Bowl, the next best thing is to watch the commercials.

Sorry to anyone cheering for the two teams - I just don't care too much this year. I'm recording the game, so I can fast forward to the commercials. We were hit with another snowstorm and I'm a bit happy that I had a built-in excuse to not drive the 3 hours down to St. Louis for a friend's Super Bowl party. (also, they talk during the commercials, but I don't think I could have given that as a reason without facing some mocking)

I'm looking forward to the Winter Soldier preview that's been announced. I haven't watched any of the Super Bowl ads that are on youtube already, because I do want to be a bit surprised.

I was prepared to not give two shits about the Superbowl this year, then the Seahawks somehow made it. That being said, I am looking forward to the commercials. Wonder what Go Daddy.com is going to do since they said they are moving away from their traditional style of commercial.

I have been flipping back and forth between Fox and the Mythbuster marathon and for once being glad that the commercials run on all channels simultaneously. In the early running, the Peanuts/Met Life add is super cute. Almost Kleenex ad touching. And I'm not much of a flag waver, so that's saying something.

I'm also looking forward to finding out why Don Cheadle has a llama.

I've liked the Tim Tebow commercials and the Radio Shack Going-Back-to-the-80s. Otherwise, this year's crop has seemed meh to me.

The Coke commercial was number #1. The best commercial since Mean Joe Green, also Coke.

was excited to see GoldieBlox commercial, but I liked the slightly longer version on YouTube.

Disappointed by the M&Ms. I expected it to keep going.

Same thing with the Bud Light commercials. Funny, but I wanted that guy to get dragged all over town and have more commercials showing what happened to him. Or do the same thing to multiple people. So disappointing.

I was also looking forward to seeing the GoldieBlox commercial, but I don't feel like it really showed what they are and what the company is trying to do.

Very bad this year.
