New LXA
 

Hey guys,

Just thought i'd drop in and say that I think lxa is awesome! Ive been r ushing all week and I accepted a bid from Lambda Chi on Wedsnesday. Im looking forward to getting to meet all the brothers and all ther other rushees this week. Are there any other guys out there associating (is that the right term?) or rushing LXA at another school?

Welcome to Lambda Chi Alpha. I am sure you will find it very rewarding and one of the most exciting things you have ever done. You made a wonderful choice and welcome! Alpha-Mu is a great chapter with probably the most colorful history in our conclave (region). One example, inthe 30's the chapter went underground because they lost university recognition. They had their meetings in the basement of the govenor's mansion (the then gov was a lambda Chi) for a few years until they regained recognized status.

it was my pleasure in 1996 to be part of the chapter that installed Alpha-Mu as a colony after being closed.

Again congrats and welcome to a great org.

Dave, while I feel all Greeks are great, I feel LXA is the best!!!!:)

I would never give up what I had and have! I am still in contact with Brothers from 30 + years ago and am still involved with the Zeta today!

Be involved but not to the detriment of your grades. You will learn and be a better man for it!

Welcome aboard David. I'm an Alpha Mu from UT currently in Maryland for work study. Say hey to the guys for me. On the house, don't know the details, since i've been out of the loop for a while. I think we're still looking. Also, if anyone is from the baltimore area in maryland, could the e-mail me to show me around a bit. That would be great.
