I know this is Zeke but what is he and when is he from? All you older alums might be able to answer that for me.

Ya Baby, Thats Zeke the Teke!!!
He was around in the mid 80s when I was in the active chapter, but faded out before I graduated in 87. We always clipped his pic out of the "TKE Clip Art" for rush posters and promo stuff. I'd guess he was introduced in the 70s sometime? The full color version of him is one I hadn't seen.

zeke is the fraternity mascot. he's been around since b4 our chapter was founded which was in '69. yeah, i haven't seen zeke on anything from nationals for years though. i guess mascots are passe.

A few fraternities have a mascot-- well, it's more a symbol such as a knight. Of course all the sororities still have mascots! :D

I can see why Zeke is not the mascot now.lol

Yah Zeke ended up on our rush power point display, that was done by an alum from 85.......We all thought it was some cheesey little logo he had looked up........I think we should have a penguin as the mascot........Dont ask me why.
