nervous about todays conversations
 

i went through day three of recruitment today and at a house that i LOVED, i was paired with another PNM to one active (i think its called double rushing?) this made things really awkward for me and i felt like she outshined me completely, making it hard for me to even get a word in. the other days before this, i was having really great conversations with them and today while i was at the house, a girl i talked to on the first day excitedly said hi to me, so i'm really upset that today went so badly. is there no hope for me to go back to this house for pref night anymore? i honestly feel like i would have had good conversations if i had been able to talk one on one! :(
i know you guys can't tell me for certain or anything like that, i'm just hoping for some comforting words :(

What will be will be. If you don't end up there, you'll find a home somewhere that you'll grow to love. It's completely possible that today didn't reflect as poorly on you as you think it did. Write a recruitment story and share it with us once recruitment is over.

I'm late - but this happened to me from the other side - I was talking to two PNMs, and one really dominated the conversation and didn't let the other one get a word in edgewise! I felt like it really reflected poorly on the blabbermouth, not the quiet one! :)
