How does formal recruitment work?
How does NPC recruitment work?

First, you've been told at least twice in other threads to contact your Greek Life Office. Since youo obviously haven't, I've done you a favor and found their web page:
http://www.oneonta.edu/development/huntunion/IGC/ The Greek Life Adviser's name, email and phone number are shown to the left. CALL HER! Second, before someone QFPs your post, please edit your post to delete the second sentence. That's so rude. |
Also there are about 400 bazillion threads here about formal rush. The vast majority of threads here are about NPC formal recruitment, to one extent or another. If you spend a few hours reading the threads and still have to ask a question like "how does formal recruitment work" then you have a bigger problem than rushing.
The process works more or less the same at any school that does formal rush with RFM, so you can read a rush thread about Alabama or Tufts or UC Berkeley, they will all help. I would just probably avoid the threads about Indiana because it is a whole different beast and also unnecessarily intimidating if you aren't there. |

In NPC recruitment, you do not "go for" a single sorority. You meet ALL of the organizations and are invited back to subsequent rounds. I am not sure how the local, MCG. etc. sororities on your campus function. Since you rushed last semester and did not receive a bid, I would assume that there is no guaranteed bid in the process at your school. |
