Super confused about the rush/recruitment part?
I transferred to a 4 year school my junior year. The first semester I messed up rush because I was told to only pick 1 sorority from the beginning. So i did, I didn't end up liking that sorority. Rush is coming again in February and I want to make sure I join a sorority. How do i go about the process? Do I go up to a sorority at a table and tell them I want to rush them? My school has NPC Sororities. I really want to get in this time, so any advice how to do it would be appreciated.

What are you confused about?
You're being too vague--did the previous post you had (http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh....php?p=2238964) not help? |
Really, your post is confusing and I've read it several times to try to decode it.
- You didn't end up liking a sorority that you picked: does this mean you pledged, then de-pledged? - Are you talking about formal recruitment coming up in February 2014? Or was that (FR) this past fall, and the coming recruitment in February is informal? - Point of information: you don't "join" a sorority or "get in" the same way you might "join" Girl Scouts or "get in" the Army. You are issued an invitation to membership (a bid) after a membership selection process (which is private to each sorority). |

When your school reconvenes next semester, please contact your Panhellenic Greek Life office. The people there are most qualified to answer your campus-specific process concerns: whether you qualify for rush; costs; benefits; dates and times of recruitment; and other inquiries you may have. If your school has no Greek Life Office, then by all means walk-up to the sorority sign-up table and inquire about recruitment. NPC members don't bite, and they may be able to assist you toward the journey of a lifetime. |
