I hope you had a nice holiday and that you started off the New Year
with a
winning attitude and determination to succeed.

I am working on a story for bet.com called, "First to Go," about a
young
African-American who is the first to attend college in his/her
family.

I need your help in finding someone to interview. I am looking for
a high
school senior who will be the first person to attend college in
his/her
family and is currently going through the college application
process. My
editor specifically asked for someone who lived in the South.

So if you know anyone in the South with a child who is about to go
to
college and will be the first one in the family to attend college
please let

me know. I would like to contact them for the story. If you could
get back
to me as soon as possible that would be great (my deadline's this
Friday)
