AXO Alum 05-18-2001 09:11 AM

I must confess...

I'm am a bad person - evil in fact. In my "real" life I take pleasure out of torturing animal crackers (especially biting their limbs off one at a time in front of their little zoo friends) and putting toothpaste in all the shampoo bottles at the gym. I also have psychotic spells where I sit around telling people that I indeed created the internet. I also lay around and accuse chestnuts of being lazy (its a movie line - prize for the one who figures it out).

And now I have brought my misery here - to the sacred world of GC. To the world where people live and die -- and literally inhale each breath based upon my posts. If I only knew I would have such power, I would have run for president.

All the sweet posts I received regarding my surgery I thought were sincere - I didn't realize that my sarcasm and sometimes ill humor were the catalyst for the fall of GC.

Therefore, based on the responses I have had from so many of you -- I will hereby declare that my life is changed because of you. You have shown me the error of my ways, and I am going to give in and print the following disclaimer on any and all future posts. I hope you like it - if not, please let me know so that I can continue to change to be just like you -- because we all know the world would be a better place if every single one of us had the exact same thoughts and opinions as "you" do. So here it is:

Ladies, Gentlemen, Transgender, and Transexuals...the following post is not in any way, shape, or form intended to abuse, hurt, emotionally scar, psychologically damage, or cause physical ill upon any eyes, mind, body, or spirit, reading, perusing, or scanning the following words, phrases, terms, or sentences. It is not intended to hurt any feelings, real or imagined, nor to discourage anyone from attaining the high ideals and hopes of greek life and all that is included with the rights and priveleges of membership therein. Furthermore, it is only an expression of personal opinion -- mine that is, as that is the only opinion that I personally know -- and is not intended or to be misconstrued as disrespectful.

****
I look forward to serving Greek Chat in the fullest capacity of being the AXO moderator, and I shall continue to foster love, harmony, peace, and happy-happy, joy-joy amongst its members, senior, junior, and moderators, without prejudice or "age" discrimination. Please let me know if I can be of service to you in any way, shape, or form - so that together we can continue to build the GC of tomorrow!

Dr. Evil in Austin Powers, about his father. He also made claims that he invented the question mark.

Good job! I of course had to go off on Gore with the internet line http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif! Oops...I mean not "go off" on him - because the kinder, gentler AXO Alum does not carry on in such a manner -- I meant that I had to be respectful of his opinion that he did create the internet. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

The prize thing -- that was actually a lie. That was before the kinder, gentler me took over. "Drink Coke - Play Again"

(notice I said...DRINK...not snort -- because I would never encourage drug use even if it may appear that I am the number one customer of my good friend Juan in Colombia http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif)

AXO- don't pull a "Sue"

I'm so sensitive that when someone else gets their feelings hurt- I feel the pain!

Like I've told AmyCat- shake things up here! We need negetive and positive feedback on the threads or this site will get soooo boring! We can't all be like "what house are you in" "who is the best on your campus" "What is Chi Chi Chi like on your campus" ... UGH!!!!

So- bring in on! Don't apologize - you are an original and we all luv ya for that!!

Sue

God AXO_Alum, I have to appreciate your honesty http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif It seems that you like the people here but can't contain your evil nature . . . http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

Whereas personally, I hate the lot of you! In a loving fashion http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif.

And only post here to give myself a smug feeling of insufferable superiority as I secretly chortle behind your backs about everything you write . . . http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

But seriously! 76% of communication is body language . . . 17% of comminication is tone of voice and only 7% are the actual words!

Which is why we use smiley's and what-not on the internet. So when we automatically assume someone is being mad, mean, evil, nasty or rude we have taken upon ourselves to assume that we know 93% of the meaning they were trying to convey . . .

Which makes ya'll much better mind readers than I am! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Ofcourse assuming the other is the same, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt unless they present an immediate threat to me http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

So just remember, everytime I read any of your posts I am secretly laughing hysterically at you http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif.

Cheers,

James

Well posts that are against the norm do make the board more interesting. But you can't go overboard. I don't know who used this quote on another post but I am, using it now. "tounge in cheek humor is allright as long as you don't bite your tounge", or something like that.

http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif Yeah, okay.

Thrillhouse 05-19-2001 02:49 AM

Hey sweetest diva, it is almost 3 am, sorry if my typing in the previous message was a bit off. What I meant to use that quote for is it is okay to have difference of opinion or idea, as long as it isn't hurtful to others. Make more sense? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
