Loss of a Recent Alumna
 

Our former chapter president passed away on Monday after a long battle with kidney cancer. Please keep my chapter in your thoughts as we spend the weekend at memorials and rituals in her honor.

It's been a rough week for all of us, especially since we decided to continue with our chapter elections because it was what she would have wanted.

I'm saddened to hear about your sister's passing. I know there is nothing I can say that will make things easier, but I hope you can accept my sympathy. You, your sisters, and Catherine's family are in my thoughts.
