'Batch' as term for Pledge class in USA?

Is anyone familiar with *any* Greek Letter Organization in North America that refers to its pledge classes as Batches? For example the first initiated pledge class in 2013 would be Batch 2013A.

On a Filipino Greek site, someone refered to an American in regards to the Year they initiated as having been in Batch 1965, and I wanted to make sure it was Filipino *only*. I'm pretty sure it is, but I wanted to check.

I've never heard that term used. Makes the new member class sound like a big ol' batch of chocolate chip cookies. LOL

Nope.

Kind of sounds like a medication or product in need of a recall.

Never heard of such a thing.
