Any of you going to attend the Charlotte, NC
Area Collegiate Training? (Feb 22-24th)

I am thinking about going, I have never attended one.
Are they fun?

I had just sent an email to our EC Finance Advisor and Chapter Advisor. I am Operations Advisor and thus not required. I was afraid that the cost would be a couple of $100, given the daily costs at Convention. But the info I read seems to be $75 for room and some meals which isn't bad...

So maybe I'll see you there!!:)

Yep, I will find out this weekend if I will need to go.

I could not afford to go if it were a couple of hundred.

I am saving my money for Chicago.

We should have a GC gathering in Chicago!

The IHQ site has been updated..you can order a Tshirt or sweatshirt...end of February..North Carolina..I'd order long sleeves, lol!:p

I am now officially going to the event and we have 3 advisors going as well as the officers from Theta Zeta Chapter! It should make for a fun weekend! I hope to see you there AGDLynn!

So what do you guys do at area collegate training?

Area Collegiate Training
 

The Feb Workshop started out being called "Money Matters" and was for VPF's and related officers and advisers. Last year it expanded to have 2 workshops - Money Matters and a Rush Workshop - we had several go last year - Rush and Membership as well as VPF's. This year they are having something for the Presidents as well and this is replacing TLC. There will be several workshops going on at the same time for advisors Check out the IHQ site for schedules.

So Jeannine and Lynn-- are you both going to the collegiate training?

Yup!! J- we'll have to work out a way to identify ourselves other than wearing AGD sweatshirts, lol!;) :D
