Turning into an NPC?
Laura or anyone else on this forum, I've got a question!
I was looking at Kettering U's website at their ASA chapter and checked out the other Greeks. Under Alpha Phi it says they used to be a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, and then became a colony of Alpha Phi. Is this common?? I just thought it was weird. Here's the link if you want to look. http://www.kettering.edu/~alphia/History.html |
Kettering
Laura,
Kettering used to be General Motors Institute - it's a co-op school. They have an "A section" and "B section." A is in class while B is on their co-op jobs and vice versa. So they have different GLO's for each section. I think ASA is the only one in both A section and B section. (they are Delta Nu-A & Delta Nu-B, but they are considered 2 different chapters) I kind of understand this from reading about them for years (B won our Crown of Excellence last year) but I hope you can decipher this explanation! :D |
Hey 33girl and localsororities~
I used to live across the street from Kettering and I know most of the Beta Sig's and Alpha Phi's so if you have any specific questions I will probably be able to answer them or I can send them to my friend Cierra who is a Beta Sig (the section that did not affiliate with Alpha Phi). A-section (January, February, March, July, August, September) Alpha Sigma Alpha Alpha Phi Theta Phi Alpha B-section (April, May, June, October, November, December) Alpha Sigma Alpha Alpha Gamma Delta Beta Sigma Phi Have a nice day :) |
