Greek graduation stoles
Do the greeks at your school get graduation stoles in their colors with the letters embroidered on them? I am wondering if I should do that for graduation...
|
We did it at my school
When I graduated in May 2001 our fraternity had greek stoles made, rather the African American did, and the company that did our stoles did not do such a good job on them, My frat colors are Navy Blue and Orange, and my stole came back in the colors of Blue and Red. I was soo angry because it was the most important day of my life and they did not get it right. But if your greeks colors are common like royal blue, white, red, and all the national black franternites then your okay, but if your like me and your local frat or soror colors are strange and they have never heard if it, it's going to be a battle. I wish you the best of luck if you decided but right now i can't remember what company it was that did my stole and others that they mess up but if i find out i will surely give you the name of the company so this does not happen to you. May you have a good time and congratulations on your success, and i hope u have fun day when it comes... GOD Bless and hope to hear from u...

All social and service fraternites and sororities at East Carolina have stoles available at graduation.

Our university's Office of Multicultural Affairs provides stoles for NPHC, but since I am not in a national organization I will get mine made from a company. There is one down in Charleston, SC called "Down on Mainstreet" that makes stoles for only $16. I don't know their website, but email me and I can get if for you.

If anyone is interested in graduation stoles I may be able to help you out. I made two for girls that graduated in December. I got the pattern from our Presidents mom who made them for the previous graduating class. I'll ask the girls if anyone took a picture and I'll post in on my website.
