Rushing the Same Fraternity a Second Time
 

Hey guys,
So last year I rushed a fraternity, and it didn't result in a bid. I'm a sophomore now, and I've gone to all of the events so far and met a bunch of people. I've really gotten along with everyone, and had some awesome conversations. They're always asking me if I'm coming to the next event, so they seem like they're interested in me, but I'm not sure if it's just being courteous. Basically, they're going to be giving out bids this week (the second week of rush). I'm just wondering that since this is the second time I'm rushing this fraternity it's going to make me look like I'd make a good brother, or if it just seems sad. Any and all comments are welcome.

Have you looked at any other fraternities? If so, have any of them offered you bids?

I have, but most bids haven't gone out yet.

You might have a serious discussion with someone who is in the house who is a friend. Ask them if you're wasting your time. Be sure to talk to someone who won't BS you. Maybe that works, maybe it doesn't. I'd keep my options open though.

I'd be curious to know how this turned out, as I'll be going through something similar.
