GA TEXTING WHILE DRIVING LAW
|
He should come to this town, he'd pick off a dozen an hour. Mostly people who think they can text while going 55 MPH.
|
Considering the only way I know how to get to my boyfriend's house in rural Georgia (where I currently am, actually) is through the GPS on my phone, I'm glad this guy isn't floating around nearby.

Humm, I didn't think it was illegal to text while stopped at a light.
One time there was an accident on I5 and the cops were there redirecting traffic, the guy in the car next to me was texting about 5 ft away from the officer. The freeway was busy and a little confusing with all of the redirecting going on. I was really surprised that he didn't get any situations. |
Watching Jamie Deen cooking show.
Driving down the street while talking on his cell phone to Paula! Wonder if Savannah cops would ticket him! |
Tyranny.

So, in NY it's a hefty fine if you talk on your phone while driving or text while driving. I moved for graduate school and I can tell you that people blatantly talk or text on their phone while driving. It amazes me. I called my mom and said, "I can't believe the people in this state don't think twice about having the phone at their ear." In NY, you put your phone on speaker so, the cops don't see you on it. Here, they hold it up to their ear. It's weird to me.

Kentucky has no texting and driving laws, including while stopped at a light. The funny part is everyone around here will say they agree with the law, yet still text and drive.
