Wisconsin quota
 

Bid night was last night at Wisconsin and I heard that quota was 59! Wow! Is that true?

That's what I heard at well! :D Greek Life has gotten very popular there in the past several years.

My sister's chapter is thrilled with their new members. Congrats to all the new members at UW!

My daughter's chapter has 59 new members and are very excited about all their new members! Greek Life definitely appears to be on a big upswing. Congrats to all.

Yep, quota was indeed 59. Chapter total will be re-evaluated, and I would imagine average chapter size after Bid Day will be around 180. Not too shabby. And we're all looking forward to the adventure that will be extension!

Agree with my friend k here. I know our chapter is very excited about their pledge class, and it's great that so many young women got bids. It will be interesting to see how this impacts the ability of the members to live in the houses in the next few years--there's going to be some competition to be able to live in, I would imagine. I know it was an issue for several chapters before recruitment.

Jokingly I told my older daughter that they would need to add a couple floors to her old house there. Her pledge class was about half of this new one.

Are the chapters at Wisconsin reasonably balanced? I'm sure there is a tier structure, but do girls by and large accept their bids and continue their memberships at all of the chapters?
