Adelphia Cable
 

I have a little venting to do. Adelphia changed all of our cable stations last week without sending out any notice. The TV Guide channel on TV has the current stations listed, but the TV Guide in print and online does not. It is the most frustrating experience! I am home sick trying to watch TV and I can't even find TBS so that I can watch old James Bond movies. So sad...:(

I KNOW! They did it last weekend WHILE I was watching Legally Blonde on PPV and the digital signal kept cutting in and out the whole movie--every 2 minutes the image went away but sound remained. I called and they were all "Oh they're changing the channels and I guess its affecting the signal" Duh! So they credited the PPV price but it was so annoying! I am so NOT a fan of adelphia!

Last night my family went over to a family friend's house to watch the Rosebowl and Adelphia went out in the middle of it. We called them and they said it was a different switch than our house was on so everyone loaded the food and drinks into cars and drove a few miles to my parents to watch the rest of the game. I so wish there weren't cable monopolies!

and of course, if you live anywhere near a canyon or hills--without adelphia--there's no reception at all. sigh.
