According to a US District Court judge last week, it is unconstitutional, at least as currently practiced. I think Bloomburg has said the City will appeal.

Yeah it's been happening all through NYC! And it's not just happening to minorities. I've read a few articles about young white students being frisked. It's awful.

You mean the police when they perform warrentless stops on people? There are ways to lower crime rates without resorting to unconstitutional methods. All programs like stop and frisk do is make it so that minority groups do not trust the police, and are thus less likely to report crimes.
