Anyway, it features all of our favorites: Maxwell :D, Angie Stone, Erykah, Alicia, Bilal, India, The Roots, Jill, etc. etc.

This is what got me! I didn't know that D'Angelo and Angie Stone have a child together. :eek: While in the grocery store, I remember passing by an Essence magazine and I think Angie was on the cover. I know it said something about D'angelo. I thought it was something about writing. :confused:

Hell, I didn't know they had a child together.

Girl, I figured it was an old show. But this here sista girl hadn't heard that before. I was shocked &**&less. :D

I first heard about them having a child together when her first album came out.

The VH1 show is only a month or so old. They did a month of spotlighting r&b music and did a whole series called Say it Loud on the history of Black music (which was pretty interesting, too). I thought the artists differing perspectives on labeling music nd the neo soul label was interesting as well.

"Stop the presses" had me ROTFLMCACAO! Yeah girl, D'Angelo is her baby daddy!

I think it was in Heart and Soul. I read the article in the grocery store, lol. It trips me out that she tells why they aren't together anymore, no holds barred, lol. Go 'head on, Angie! :)

I haven't had a chance to see this show yet, I'ma hafta check the guide. Lemme tell yall about my cable guide now that I think of it, DAYUM!! It does NOT have VH1, MTV, or BET. Now, for real, WTF? Craaaaaaaap. EST peeps, tell me what day and time it shows, please, lol. I'ma hafta call and tell TimeWarner about this, lol.
