ASU (Arizona) sorority recruitment

So I just transferred to ASU as a sophomore and I pretty much have my heart set on rushing a sorority. The problem is that my GPA is a 2.68 and I'm worried that no one will take me. The only reason it's that low is because I messed up 2 semesters due to reasons I don't really wanna get into on here. I've been doing good since after so it's not like I can't handle myself academically. Should I just wait to rush until I raise my GPA a bit? or take my chances and just rush during fall? Help lol.

Having a 2.68 GPA from college will limit your options since the all sorority average is over a 3.0. If you go through recruitment you will need to go through with an open mind. I'm not sure there are GPA requirements for each chapter listed any where? That was one of the items we wanted in the recruitment booklet.

There are women who go through recruitment as a Junior and have success. The other option would be to get a semester of great grades and see who will be spring recruiting. There are usually a handful of Chapters that will pick up women in the spring. If you decide to wait I would get involve on campus and keep those grades up.

ASUdani, I sent you a private message

And without knowing what ASUADPi has told you privately, LISTEN TO HER. She has no agenda that involves being mean to you, just because.

Wow this feels a bit parent trap esque as I am almost in the exact same situation as you ASUdani. Same school too. I am going to rush, and just see how it turns out. *fingers crossed*
