Ok I think it's high time Auburn had a thread for recruitment 2013. PNMs move into the dorms just 4 weeks from today and Ice Water Teas kickoff in 30 days. Hopefully this thread will be a place for PNMs and parents to share their experiences and have their Auburn-specific questions answered.

I don't know any girls going through this year, but I do know one boy.

Hi BamaMom13 - just had to laugh when I saw your name in a post and didn't remember posting - since I am BamaMomma2013 had to look twice!!
Do you have a daughter going through recruitment at Bama or Auburn?

Not this year. My daughter went through in 2007. She has graduated but wishes she was back in the middle of it all. She is a KD.

I wrote a reccomendation for a young lady going through Auburn rush :)

Moved my wonderful daughter back to the loveliest village on the plains today. She is very excited to be living in the Hall and being on the other side of recruitment this year.
Recruitment is full of highs and lows, especially for us dads who really don't understand the whole process. My advice to any PMN dads who happen to stumble upon this thread, or who happen to have it passed on to them by PMN moms, is positive reinforcement for your daughters reminding them to be themselves, and to keep the corkscrew and ice and tonic handy to keep the moms properly hydrated through recruitment.
It worked for me last year!!!

My daughter is all moved in on the hall, and pre-recruitment started this afternoon. Can't wait to hear how things progress!
