Goodreads: Fraternity and Sorority Books

If you are on Goodreads, won't you vote for your favorite books about fraternities and sororities?

Did you vote for it on Goodreads? These lists are good promotion for those people writing about fraternity and sorority history and culture.

Yes!

You might want to add Sorority Sisters by Claudia Welch. It's pretty good, and represented a lot of different facets of (NPC) sorority life well, I thought.

Ditto on this.

Southern Ladies And Gentlemen, by Florence King

PS it wouldn't add it for some reason.

LOVE Florence King; some of her stuff is hilarious! I haven't read "Southern Ladies and Gentlemen", though so thanks for the heads up, MaryPoppins!

Another Florence King fan checking in! Loved her
Southern Ladies and Gentlemen and Wasp, Where Is Thy Sting?. You know the characters, it's so good to see somebody describe them so well.

Just got Sorority Sisters from the library. Is the author a sorority alumna?

Claudia Welch is an Alpha Phi. I believe she is from USC.

Oh I know exactly what you mean! Have you read: When Sisterhood was in Flower (fiction) (1982); Confessions of a Failed Southern Lady (1985); Reflections in a Jaundiced Eye (1989); and, With Charity Toward None: A Fond Look at Misanthropy (1992)? I like to think of her as a female P.J. O'Rourke.
