Daaaang. A 52-year-old French mom put on heavy makeup and youthful clothes in order to take her daughter's test for her. Sounds like she almost succeeded.

Maybe I should've tried this for Tallulah's ACT! Low-cut jeans and shirt, etc.;)

I'm not surprised.

A scandal was exposed not too long ago in the school district where I grew up. A student who had gotten excellent SAT scores took his younger brother's SAT for him. He also hired himself out - I think his rate was one dollar per point, 2000 points guaranteed. He would make up a fake ID in his client's name, go to a testing center where no one was likely to recognize him, take the exam, and collect a couple of thousand dollars. The scandal was exposed because students whose GPA was in the C and D range were suddenly getting 2200s and 2300s on their SATs.

To paraphrase the old E.F. Hutton ads: "I got my SAT scores the old-fashioned way ... I EARNED them."

And this is what a helicopter parent truly is.
