Colony Charter Members 1938
 

Hello Greek Community, I came across a framed matting in a sale that has photos, names, and a crest with Greek Letters that simply reads "Colony Charter Members" across the top. The crest is purple with what appears to be an owl, a bone, and Sigma Nu. The names are Davis, Knight, Saunders, McInnis, Gay, Turner, Wright, Vaughan, Williams, and Coppedge. I'm just curious if any other their families would be interested in it and/or to find out more about it's history. Thanks, Melinda Elledge

I would suggest/recommend that you contact Sigma Nu Headquarters as this may well be something they would like to have for their archives.

Are you sure it's not Sigma Pi? Purple, an owl and a bone don't sound at all like Sigma Nu, but they sound exactly like Sigma Pi.
