Hunter College & Lehman College
 

Does anyone know if Hunter still has greeks? We were founded there, and I was just wondering the possibility of getting our Alpha chapter back. Our Alpha split in 1968 when Hunter split into Hunter College and Herbert Lehman College. Do either of these have a greek system?

I tried searching Hunter College's website for Greek Life information and didn't come up with much. Although some pages on there made reference to Alpha Phi Omega and Delta Phi Epsilon and another sorority which I can't remember now.

I know how you feel though. We were founded at Williams College, and they got rid of the Greek System there. It's a shame when you're founding chapter is at a school where you can't even exist anymore.

Delta Phi Epsilon closed and reopened in either the late eighties or early nineties. The chapter closed again in the last two or three years if I'm not mistaken. From what I know about Hunter College, greek life is very small if it exists at all.
