Incoming CAP at UTSA

Hey guys first post,
Just made my decision, which was between TCU (with a lot of loans) or CAP at UTSA and then UTA my second year. I'm definitely wanting to join a fraternity, but I'm not sure what the best way would be to go about it. I feel as if I join as a freshman at UTSA, there isn't much point because I'll be leaving the next year.. But I've heard if you pledge as a sophomore, it's not "the same". Can anyone confirm/deny this or share any of your experiences?
Thanks,

Alex

I pledged as a sophmore...still had a good time so I don't know what this difference is besides having some actives the same age or a year younger than you.

So there are not many frats at UTSA that are the same at UT. So IMO, I would sit tight at UTSA and make sure you are doing everything you can to meet folks at UT. (and Knight is correct, it is UT, UTA=University of Texas Arlington) If you can, go hang out there on the weekends (especially game weekends) and figure out where you might fit in at UT and try to continue to make connections there. Be sure to go to Round UP in 2014 and you should be in good position when you enter Fall 2014.

Awesome thanks for the responses, and won't be calling it UTA anymore I wasn't aware. One more question, which has most likely been answered, but what exactly is roundup? I hear there isn't really a formal rush week at UT, so is that what round up is?
