Flash Intro - Websites

Can anyone please post a site with instructions on how to create a flash intro. for a website? Either that, or PM me or e-mail me.

There are a lot of cool greek websites out there that begin with a really fancy flash intro, and I would like to create one for my site.

Thanks!

Macromedia Flash is a great flash media developer to use. However it is rather expensive, unless your GLO actually has a budget set aside for web development. If you're really serious about it though you can DL the free 30 day trial and take their free flash tutorials.

To create a really outstanding Flash intro you'll need some awesome graphics, time to learn the program, and $$ to buy the program.

As a professional web designer, I recommend having a site for low-bandwidth visitors as well, otherwise you risk alienating a large group of potential visitors.

The real trick is to find one you like, and steal it off another site. Plug in your pictures, and viola!

TechAPhi took the words right out of my mouth...of course, who am I to talk, I run probably the world's most boring-looking site (for now). Most browsers have a hard time viewing Flash pages. Worldwide, IE and Netscape Navigator are not as popular as they are in the US, and an HTML site is a good idea. Try your local library for Flash instruction books.
