Tri Delta Alumna Injured in Boston Marathon Bombing
 

Liza Cherney, an alumna of the University of Southern California, was injured by shrapnel at the Boston Marathon bombing. Liza was a member of Theta Xi Chapter of Tri Delta. She is hospitalized in Boston.

Liza graduated in 2002 with a B.S. in Gerontology and later earned a M.S. in Gerontology, also at SC. She is a candidate for a MBA at Boston College this spring.

I would love to let her know that she has many sisters sending her positive thoughts.

Just saw on the Tri Delta LinkedIn page that her friends have set up a Give Forward page for donations and words of encouragement. There are also updates. She is out of the hospital, but recovery will take time and I'm sure the bills will be significant.
