GLO Officers
I just wondered what officer position your fraternity/sorority has and their roles. In my chapter it is as follows:
Executive Officers: President, Vice Pres. of Membership (coordinates alumni relations and member services), Vice Pres. of Service (coord. our service program for the year), Secretary, Treasurer, Sgt at Arms, Pledgemaster, Fellowship chair (coordinates formals, mixers, and parties) Lesser Offices: Publicity Chair (newsletters and advertising), Scouting Rep. (coord. We have:
Executive Council has President Vice President Membership Development- does programming, team leader for New member coordinator, standards, etc. Vice President Scholarship- Oversees scholarship and social activities Vice President Recruitment- Formal recruitment and team leader for COB and Membership Vice President Operations- Records chapter meetings, over corespondance and publications Vice President Finance- Money money money Vice President Campus Relations- Panhellenic representive and deals with public relations Property Coordinator- Over the property of the chapter and liason between chapter and house association Chapter council includes Executive Council and also has: Risk management, COB, Membership, Personal Development, social, activities, intramurals, community service, publications, public relations, alumni relations, new member coordinator, ritual coordinator, and there are more I just cannot think of them off hand. Needless to say offices keep us busy! |
Chi Omega's Executive Board
President Vice President - in charge of scholarship Secretary - in charge of Cardinal Cabnet Treasurer New Member Educator and Assistant Personnel - Rules and bi-laws Recruitment Chair and Assistant Panhellenic - liason between us and NPC Cardinal Cabnet Social Chair - Formal/Fall Function, Date Dashes, Social Functions/Exchanges Campus Relations Chair - Promoting our good name through out the University. Responsible for sending congratulatory cards to other Greeks on accomplishments etc. Career Development Chair - Brings in speakers and information dealing with possible career paths. Community Service Chair - Organizes our community services on and off campus. Sisterhood Chair - Organizes sisterhood events, holiday parties, and announces birthdays. -Miss Manners - Reminds us how to act...like we need reminding. Foundation Abassador - Collects donations for the Chi Omega Foundation. Others Alumna Relations - Coordinates our annual Alumna Golf Outing Historian - Keeps accurate records Webmaster - that's me I don't think it's all the same for every Chatper of Chi Omega...but that's how my Chapter does it.
