Dream Proposals
If you are not married, or even if you are, how was your proposal. I often think about it (although I'm without a mate at this time). Reading Professor's proposal really had me thinking in this direction again. It was soooooo romantic.
He would have taken a bag of Hershey kisses, roses, and scented candles and placed them in spots around my house (wherever I'm living at the moment). He will leave a trail of Hershey kisses & rose petals from the front door to the bedroom. Finally on the bed, which is covered in rose petals, there is note that says "now that I've kissed the ground you walk on, and showered you with roses, my heart is yours...now turn around ~ I turn around and there he is with two dozen roses in his hand on one knee ~ will you marry me? I've also dreamed of being proposed to in front of family and friends but I really haven't thought about that one too much. Whatever my future fiance' thinks of in asking me to marry him, I'm sure it will make me cry :) I cry very easily. |
I like your idea CkretCrush8 except for the Hersheys....Im allergic to chocolate ;)
I will say those diamond commercials just are horrible for me....especially the anniversary one where the guy rents the movie theater out and there is a showing of all these old photos of them etc...wow - that would be amazing...but I am going to live in the real world here ;) Although I am on strike from dating..my dream proposal would be...my mate taking me on a romantic weekend to the beach - maybe on the 4th of july or something. he would spread out a blanket on the sand and have a picnic complete with champagne waiting. we would eat and drink and cuddle...and as the fireworks started, he would pull the ring out and ask me to marry him. this of course would only be possible if we were on a secluded part of the beach...i dont want some loud mouth punk kids with water guns ruining my dream proposal :) |
It ain't gotta be all fancy schmancy...lol
JUST DO IT!
:D :p |
Re: It ain't gotta be all fancy schmancy...lol
that's what folk say - but as a man, i hate when a woman says something like "he did not do anything special, he just gave me the ring." You know, like on special days like anniversary women say "well you know he does not even remember."
