sayin hello!
I'm new here and just wanted to say hello to all you Phabulous Phi Mus out there!
I noticed there hadn't been a post in a little while, so I wanted to add one. :D |
Welcome to the board, PhiMuNursie :) What chapter are you from?
|
yay!
Yay! I love meeting Phi Mus. Anyway, I'm from Alpha Nu at the University of Florida. I graduate in May, so I'm sad :(, but I will stay as active as I can.
Any alumnae have advice on how to stay connected to the Fraternity after your college days are done? I just know I'm going to be so lost without my daily knowing I'll have all my sisters there for me. You know? Anyway, LIOB, Tara |
Tara,
The best way to stay involved with Phi Mu is to find an active alumnae chapter in the area where you will be moving to. You can obtain this information on the Phi Mu National webpage. I'm not sure if it's on the public domain or on the "private side". You might also try becoming involved with the Alumnae Panhellenic if your area has one. Here you can meet women from many different GLOs and still stay involved with Greek Life. One last way depends on whether there will be a collegiate chapter in your new area. If there is you can see about getting involved with the House Corps or contact the adviser and see if she could use any help. I just graduated from FSU (Alpha Epsilon) 2 weeks ago and once I figure out where I'm going to be going I definitely plan to seek out an alumnae chapter. Enjoy your last semester....and I hope this information is helpful :) |
