Mizzou rec letters
 

Hello again! more questions-
I am a freshman rushing in the fall, from GA.

When should I mail my Rec letters?
Is 2-3 per each house to many? thanks.

Number of recs was already answered in your previous thread. Also, read this thread.

I am not familiar with your school, but note that you are not the one sending the recommendations. Your sponsors who write your recommendations will submit them.

Perhaps someone with Mizzou experience can address a deadline, if any, or you can call the office of Greek Life at your school and ask them for some guidance. Many rec-heavy schools have a July 1 deadline.

I would tell your rec writers to mail the rec by July 1, if possible. I live in Missouri, and while recs can certainly arrive later, this is a good time frame for them to arrive in Columbia. 2 - 3 per house will be fine.

And yes, please note: you are not the one who mails the letters. The alumna will do this. REad the stickies on recs - ways to ask, write thank you's, things to give your rec writer, etc. There is good info on this site. Read, read, read.

But I'm actually in a house at Mizzou (I'm a sophomore) so if you have any questions about ANYTHING feel free to ask and I would love to help you out. I have a looot of downtime this week since it's spring break and I had to come home to job-hunt...
