Alpha Phi Alpha doesn't have a high school fraternity, junior fraternity, or any other club which would allow you to step, have hand symbols, etc. To be honest, if you have friends who are in organizations which do that, I can assure you that they are focused on the wrong things.
Visit http://www.memphisalphas.org and contact the chapter to ask them if they have any of the following programs for youth:
- Beautillion
- Rite of Passage Program
- Service opportunities open to high school boys
I wish you luck. Please remember that being in a high school fraternity really means nothing when you graduate, especially if you are interested in pledging an NPHC fraternity one day. The best thing you can do for yourself is maintain good grades, do community service, and participate in extracurricular activities.
