Schools with Separate Upperclassman Quotas
It seems like we have more and more upperclassmen PNMs coming to Greek Chat. Would anyone care to post below and indicate if your school or a school you have experience with has a separate upperclassman quota? It may be helpful for those women. This is not so much "what are my chances" as an upperclassman, but simply being more informed as they go into recruitment.
That being said, I strongly encourage PNMs to verify anything they read on Greek Chat with their university. Here are some that have been mentioned in past threads: U of Alabama U of South Carolina Florida State |
UCLA

UAB
Auburn Georgia LSU Ole Miss |
Clemson

Depaul
North Alabama UC-Davis UC-Berkeley USC (California) Iowa Southern Mississippi St. Louis (Missouri) UNC-Chapel Hill UNC-Wilmington University of Tulsa Pennsylvania State Tennessee SMU Tarleton State (Texas) TCU Texas |
Mississippi State
Neither LSU or Auburn have had an upperclass quota in the past, and I do not believe that either campus is having one this year. I just checked the 2012 RFM report for both campuses to insure that my reply was correct, and no secondary quota was noted for either campus. |

Anyone who is an RFM specialist willing to send me a PM? I have questions about how it is being applied on the campus where I advise?
Thanks in advance! |

Not a separate quota per se, but Ohio State has informal recruitment (that nonetheless is pretty formal) in the Fall for 2nd years and above, only. I think the past couple of years, after OSU Panhel lifted the hard total member number ceiling, every sorority took pledges in the Fall. Freshmen go through deferred recruitment during Spring semester (January).
