Wow what a feeling
 

I was listening to A Yes a Rock Station and this crazy DJ always does things for people in need around the Holidays and does great for Toys For Tots!

I am listening to this and have a customer who comes in the Store, a single Mom with 3 Boys and 1 girl!

Her oldest son 13 is in Hospital with very bad stomach pains. She did not work for 3 weeks so did not get paid! 3 feet less intestines and a benign tumor the size of an orange he got out! NO Christmas for the kids!

I figure do something for my people so got my handy Elf Lucy D who works for me and we went to work!

Well she got her first pay check in 3 weeks and got $70.00. Man does that suck!

I could not be at the store when she came in as had to take the youngest to hospital today and I did not want to be there as I would have been a F basket case!

Well we got $120.00 for her, 4 boxes of grocerys, box full of Tonka Toys 3 remote, pop, a 14 lb.Turkey and toys for the kids!

The reason I would not go back up to the store is I would have Bawled like a Baby! She cried like Hell and when Lucy D called me, I was tearing up the key board!

The kids will now have a Happy Christmas and that is what it is all about! They sould be able to eat for at least a week!:)

This is what being a Greek is all about!:)

I feel very fortunate to have been in a position to do something for someone in need and I know that is how all of you feel as you are the best!

We as Greeks always do for those less fortunate than we are because that is the way we are!:)

Tom, you are such a kind-hearted, generous man and a good example of what being a greek is all about. I've always believed that what you put out into the world comes back to you so I am certain that wonderful things will be coming your way! I hope that Santa fills your stockings until they overflow! :D

wow. tom. between that story and the gosh darn baz lurhman (sp?) version of silent night, i almost haven't stopped the tears. sad things is when i heard that song i was stuck in traffic and i kept having to wipe away the tears to see the road. at least i'm just typing here.
