I will be transferring to UA in the fall.Iwaswondering: since I will be transferring, does this make my chances of getting into a sorority slimmer? I have above a 3.3 GPA so I think I'm good in that area. But since I will be an upperclassmen will I have less of a chance of getting a bid or even invited to the rest of rush week?

You only need to ask the question ONCE. Starting 2 identical threads is just confusing and wastes time.

Yes. You have a slimmer chance based on upperclassman status and a low GPA. Go in expecting heavy cuts, but definitely give it a try at formal recruitment in the fall and keep an open mind to joining any of the chapters if you truly want to be in a sorority. No one can tell you your exact chances, but you can put your best foot forward by reading the link in my signature, getting great grades, getting recommendations for all the sororities, and getting involved at your school now to demonstrate community involvement/leadership/participation.
