Greek store in auburn or columbus?
Okay, Google is not being my friend. I've been in Columbus, GA for 4 years now, but haven't had a reason to find a Greek store to shop at, as I've done most of my shopping online. I need to have some stitch letter shirts made, but I've got my own fabric. What's the name of the stores that the CSU or Auburn ladies go to to buy these?

The two stores in Auburn that carry Greek items are Tiger Surprise and Wrapsody. I am not sure if either of those do stitch letter shirts. I had my daughter's shirts made at a local sporting goods store in TN.

They are really not hard to sew yourself. If you don't have a quilters ruler (clear plastic wide ruler) to make sure everything is straight, use a piece of paper cut lengthwise to the width you want to letters to be below the collar (usually about 3" below). Make sure the letters are centered to the sleeve seams.
I use a tear away stabilizer PLUS freezer paper on the wrong side of the shirt so there is no puckering. I also edge the letters with FrayCheck before ironing the letters to the shirt. The fusible I use is heavyduty strength. I use a satin stitch as opposed to a zigzag. |
