One of the many costs for new members in my colonizing chapter are our pins. I was curious if it is ok to buy a used onion eBay as opposed to Herf Jones to save money?

I think you need to ask your organization. Each one has rules and there may be some restrictions about this; better to go straight to the source.

I've never heard of the pin purchase through the sorority to be anything other than mandatory.
