first off. no hate mail for this. i have a friend who is a pi phi and i'm currently bidding on a pin for her for x-mas (it's gonna be a late gift) but i wanna know if it's real. the ebay item number and link is here i just don't wanna waste my money on a fake gift so if a pi phi or anybody who knows this stuff could let me know i'd REALLY REALLY appreciate it.

I tried your link, it did not work. There are two pins on ebay, they both are Pi Phi pins. However, they are the pins we get upon intitiation and the asking price is only $5 less then a brand new one.

If your friend is a member of pi phi she should have the exact pin that is on ebay. If you would like to get a pin for your friend, you can go to: http://www.pibetaphi.org/market/mktfram.htm. We have a pin for just $20 more that has a nice raised pearl.

Why would you get hate mail, if you are buying it for your Pi Phi friend?

Hey A&A, I couldn't get the link either but I think I see the one she means. There's a Buy It Now pin that's about ten dollars and it's a replica of the crest. I've never seen one like that.

Cute pin... Like Carnation said, that is replica of our crest. It is hard to view it clearly. However, from what I can see (minus the middle, which is hard to view), it looks like our crest.

kewl beans ladies. thanks a ton. the girl i'm looking for kewl pi phi stuff was actually my "rush crush" this year. she ended up going pi phi instead of alpha gam but we ended up getting to know each other anyways (they live two doors down from us) so i thought i'd spread some christmas spirit.

ps. i think people get a ton of flames on here for bringing up pins, badges, letters, or heck, any merchandise that gets sold on ebay.
