Conrad Bain, known for his role as the wealthy white widower who adopted his deceased housekeepers 2 black sons on Different Strokes has passed away at age 89. RIP

I remember him also as the creepy Mormon church elder in "Child Bride of Short Creek". Diane Lane and Christopher Atkins was in that "TV Movie of the Week" as well.
