Tri Sigma Trivia

Ok, let's start this out....everyone else has them.

What is Tri Sigma's National Philanthropy?

Answer the question and come up with your own! It's a fun way for us to stump each other and learn tons about Sigma at the same time :)

Trivia

I don't know the care bears answer... Hmm. Anyone?

Our current National President is Mary K. Barbee.

My trivia questions are:
**What sororities (including Sigma) make up the Farmville Four?

**Name two locations that TriSigma "pioneered" (ie. no other sororities were there before us):

Well the Farmville Four question is super easy for me!

In founding order:

Kappa Delta
Sigma Sigma Sigma
Zeta Tau Alpha
Alpha Sigma Alpha

What two campuses did we Pioneer? That's a hard one unless I go pull out my Path from Farmville, but I know that my chapter (Pi) I'm almost 99% positive was the first sorority on our campus. There may have been a local group, but I seriously doubt it.

Answers to My Questions

The answers to my second question is:

(I'm sure we pioneered many more than this, but these are kind of the two biggies that no one else has yet)
*Alaska (Eta Zeta at University of Alaska Anchorage, and Zeta Mu at University of Alaska Fairbanks)
*Germany (Eta Mu)

Oh gosh...and I even work with those chapters!!!! I didn't think that early, I was reaching way back there :)

Good one....

Ok, Where was the first National Convention held and when?

Pioneering

Actually, Sigma was the first sorority on Murray State University's campus also. Our chapter is Alpha Chi chapter and we date back to 1942. Last Januray we celebrated our 60th anniversary of being on Murray's campus.
